A man in California was taken into custody on Saturday morning following accusations of stabbing two individuals and assaulting two more.
Efrain Troncoso, 22, has been taken into custody on charges including attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, robbery, and attempted vehicle theft, as reported by Ventura Police.
Early this morning, just after 7 a.m., a stabbing incident occurred near Ash Street and Thompson Boulevard, involving a victim who was attacked from behind by a man riding a bicycle.
A woman reported to 911 that she had been stabbed in the neck by a man while walking on Chestnut Street, as police were already attending to another incident involving a man.
Shortly after, another individual came forward, stating that a suspect had hit him in the head with a metal pipe and stolen from him.
While authorities were on the lookout for the suspect, another individual reported a robbery at knifepoint, during which his car keys were taken.
All four attacks occurred in less than half an hour and within a five-block radius. Authorities found Troncoso in a vehicle he had unlawfully entered, trying to ignite the engine with keys that were reported stolen, leading to his arrest.
Troncoso had been arrested several times in Moorpark, including as recently as last week for alleged arson and resisting arrest, for which he was released on Nov. 12, according to police. He was previously taken into custody for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
