The Atlantic Coast Conference announced on Monday afternoon that Miami’s last game of the season will take place at Syracuse on Nov. 30, starting at 3:30 p.m. from the JMA Wireless Dome.
The Hurricanes will have their last regular season game aired on ESPN, which will determine if they make it to the ACC Championship games.
Miami holds the advantage in the historical matchup against the Orange, with a record of 16 wins to 7 losses, and has secured victory in the last six encounters. The last encounter between the two teams was in 2017.
The Hurricanes face several questions ahead of their season finale. The defense has consistently prevented them from securing what should be reliable victories. Wake Forest appears to be a game the Canes should confidently handle, yet it also has the potential to be a classic trap game. The Hurricanes must take the field with a clear sense of purpose, as they have something to demonstrate.
Heisman candidate Cam Ward appears to have been overlooked by national media in discussions surrounding the Heisman trophy. He isn’t exactly the top quarterback in the country, nor is he considered the best player in the nation. He is essential to the Hurricanes, and he aims to prove why he deserves to be recognized among the elite this season.
