Friday, August 3rd marked the eighth stop of the Endless Summer Tour featuring G-eazy, Lil Uzi Vert and Ty Dolla $ign. This tour is the follow up to the 2016 G-eazy Endless Summer Tour. The concert took place in Phoenix at the Ak-Chin Pavilion with the show starting at 6:30 pm. During the concert, fans could donate to the Endless Summer Fund – a charity started by G-eazy to help at-risk youth.

G-eazy, whose real name is Gerald Gillum, is most known for his songs “No Limit” and “Me, Myself and I,” both of which were part of the set list performed during the evening. Maci Sarli (10) was excited to be attending the concert: “I didn’t get to go the first one, I really like how he’s doing his old songs because those are my favorite.” A highlight of the show included G-eazy returning to the stage on top of a car after a set break while performing the hit “Beautiful and Damned,” which is the title release from his latest album.

Other top-chart songs that could be heard were “XO TOUR Llif3” by Lil Uzi Vert and “Psycho” by Post Malone, which features, and was performed by, Ty Dolla $ign. Sarah Paulk (10) has been a fan of Ty Dolla $ign for years: “I’ve always liked his songs, Lil Uzi Vert is a newer artist to me but I really like his music.” Those in attendance who were not lucky enough to be seated in the front row got a close-up look at Lil Uzi Vert and Ty Dolla $ign as they ran out into the crowd during each of their sets.

If fans were not able to attend the show in Phoenix, G-eazy will be on tour through September 8th, making stops in other major cities including Dallas, Chicago and Atlanta. Other concert events taking place in Phoenix include Charlie Puth (who will be performing at the Ak-Chin Pavilion on August 21st), Wiz Khalifa and Rea Sremmurd (also performing at Ak-Chin Pavilion on August 30th), and Drake, who is scheduled to take the stage on October 8th at the Gila Arena with special guests Migos.
