For seven long and painful scenes, Game Of Thrones has brought action and fantasy to the screens. From starting with a small budget, and creating a story that would stick with its audience, to gaining fame, and putting their money towards the show’s special effects. The world was stunned in 2011 when the show first aired, and people are still stunned to this day now having the 8th season in 2019. Game Of Thrones became the most awarded series in Emmy Awards history, with a total of 38 wins. In its history of being on air, Game of Thrones has won 244 awards out of 686 nominations. The world loves the show, and the actors too. Season 8 has many high expectations to face this year. All people have to do, is wait and see.

On social media, shows from all throughout time are talked about and criticized between fans and haters. With Game Of Thrones being one of the most popular shows to date, everyone has their own opinions on what happens in its story. On the history of events that partook in the show, Carly Major (12) says, “I’ve loved the show from the very beginning. With what has happened up until this moment just makes everything more exciting. I can not wait for April 14th when it comes out!” Sometimes, it’s the shocking and confusing events that happen, is what drives people to continue viewing the show.

After every season finale, the viewers of the show anticipate for the start of the new season. From predictions and theories, to conspiracies and interpretations. So from season 7 being separated from season 8 with as long as a year in between, the viewers grow anxious of what must happen in the new episodes. Maria Ibarrao (10) says, “I’m scared to see what’s going to happen. If someone dies i swear i’m going to freak out. I hope this last season has a happy ending for once…” With a cliffhanger being set on every season, this last season is going to show it’s audience a full ending to wrap up it’s stories and characters. People can only wonder for now of what will happen.

People have their favorite shows, either from Netflix, Hulu, or on cable. With Game Of Thrones bring on TV, and Hulu, a wider range of an audience fills the chairs viewing the show. Talking about favorites and why, Puja Rastogi (10) says, “Game Of Thrones is one of the best shows i’ve ever binged. I watched it with friends, and i snack to it everyday at 2 am. Literally the best stuff i swear.” There are our favorites, and least favorites. But the people know what’s going to take all the attention this month. It’s Game Of Thrones, Season 8 airing April 14th 2019.
