Kendrick Lamar has been in the rap game for a decade now and his music is still being played everywhere in the world. Kendrick Lamar’s career first started after he made his first album titled “overly dedicated.” The album consisted of many features such as SchoolBoy Q and many others. His next album “Section 80” released in 2011 and is considered one his best albums. The album had a Top song called “A.D.H.D”. This song went platinum within a year. Tyler Anderson (11) said “Kendrick Lamar has a lot of talent and he really expressed that in section 80.” Overall the beginning of Kendrick’s career was truly a “come up”.

Kendrick Lamar has made many hit songs over his career as a musical artist. His album titled “DAMN” won 2017 album of the year. Humble, Love, and DNA were the hit songs that really pushed the album to the next level. Kendrick has since been on the rise especially since creating “Black Panther” which featured “Kings Dead” featuring hit artist FUTURE. Ryan Sun (10) said “Kendrick is a top 5 rapper of all time and has many different styles of music to his arsenal which makes him so unique.” Kendrick sometimes is an artist people would want to listen to when they are trying to relax or simply trying to get hyped, it all depends.

It is rumored that Kendrick Lamar is set to release another album in 2019. Other artists like J Cole, Kanye West and Big Sean are all also expected to release. Crew Marin (11) said “2019 is going to be the best rap year of all time.” Fans of rap from across the globe recognize Kendricks Legacy and put him up with the greats
