Last Week, Deck Nine studios released the official trailer for “Life is Strange: True Colors”, the fifth installment in the “Life is Strange” series. The newest game follows Alex, a teenage girl with unique enhanced empathy. With her powers, Alex can see colorful auras around people that mimic their emotions. Some emotions are easy to pick apart (yellow for happy, red for angry, blue for sad), but others are more complex, such as purple and orange, which could mean a variety of different feelings.

While dealing with her strange abilities, Alex also copes with the death of her older brother, Gabe. Over the course of the game, Alex tries to discover the truth behind Gabe’s death, which the police claim to be an accident.

“Life is Strange: True Colors”, like the other games in the franchise, is a story-driven adventure game that relies on the choices of the player to change the outcome. The entire game will be released all at once, but it’ll be broken into several different chapters.

The set release date for “Life is Strange: True Colors” is September 21, 2021. If you’re interested in playing it, the game will be available then on PC, Google Stadia, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Mac, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
