On Tuesday, Aug. 24, the media and actors of “Spider Man- No Way Home” released the trailer for the upcoming movie on Youtube, Instagram, and Twitter, because this action packed movie is scheduled to come out in December. 

Fans of Marvel have been looking forward to the third movie of the Spider Man trilogy since July of 2019, when the second movie, “Spider Man- Far From Home” was released. The movie ended with a scene where Peter Parker’s (Tom Holland) identity as Spiderman was revealed to the whole world.

This sets up for the plot of the upcoming movie, where it is clear that Peter Parker and Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) will be working together. Everyone now knows Spiderman’s true identity, but with Dr. Strange’s time stone, they plan to reverse time and make sure nobody has the information. Peter is now visibly stressed, because he doesn’t want his best friend Ned, his girlfriend MJ (Zendaya), or his Aunt May forgetting that he is Spiderman, but the spell must erase everyone’s memory. Peter is conflicted by this, and because everybody thinks he purposely killed Mysterio, when the recording of his death did not show what actually happened. Everyone is against him and they need this to be stopped immediately. 

Marvel Studios plans on releasing the movie in theaters on Dec. 17, 2021 to successfully conclude the trilogy, with “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”coming just three months after.
