Johnny Depp Rests His Case and Now It’s Amber’s Turn

Renowned actor Johnny Depp, has been in a six week long defamation trial against his ex wife Amber Heard. Depp has been presenting his case over the course of 13 days. Now he is finished, and it’s Heard’s turn to speak.

Depp originally sued Heard because he claimed that a 2018 op-ed she penned defamed him. He has stated that he has lost work because of this op-ed, and has missed out on tons of money. Depp called more than two dozen witnesses to the stand to testify. The last witness was a forensic accountant by the name of Mike Spindler testified that Depp’s estimated “lost earnings” was $40 million.

Depp has allegedly lost a lot due to Heard, and fans are furious about it. Many hate pages for Heard have surfaced, and even death threats against her are common. When Heard presents her case, I hope for her sake that it’s a good one.
