Indian Prints Appear at Lakme Fashion Week

Partnership between Lakme Fashion Week and the Fashion Design Council of India has created a world of different, unique designs, beautiful shapes, colors and embroidery. 

Anamika Khanna opens the show with her ready-to-wear line, called AK OK, and its main focus on print. Khanna’s main goal with the array of prints is to give people room to explore and experiment. 

Abirr N’ Nanki for Limerick took inspiration from Rajasthan seventh and ninth century paintings. The “Artopia” collection focused on culture from the past to present-day. 

Amit Aggarwal, Guarav Gupta, Rina Dhaka, Shantnu & Nikhil, and Shyamal & Bhumika were some other popular designers who made an appearance at the show. 

2022 has been a year where more brands have been exploring the feminine side of menswear, like designer Abraham & Thakore.
