James Cameron’s sequel “The Way of Water” to the blockbuster success “Avatar” is beating records as it holds its top position for the seventh week in a row. It has made around $516 million, placing it fifth all-time. Critics enjoyed the sequel and rated it high, almost as good as the first film. “The Way of Water” wowed the audience with the CGI effects that scored the first film so well for its time.

The film is about:

“Jake Sully and Ney’tiri have formed a family and are doing everything to stay together. However, they must leave their home and explore the regions of Pandora. When an ancient threat resurfaces, Jake must fight a difficult war against the humans.” (IMDB).

There are three additional sequels in the “Avatar” franchise planned, but release dates have not been confirmed.
