Netflix announced earlier this week that there will be a “Cobra Kai” season six coming soon. However, the producers of the show penned a letter posted to social media stating that it will be the sixth and final season. 

The letter says that they want “to end the show on their own terms.” The actors in the show are getting older; many eighteen in season one, now in their twenties. The producers also want to explore other projects. 

The producers hinted at possible “Miyagi-verse” spinoffs in the future. 

The release date for season six has not been released yet, but likely will be at the end of the year.
