Singer-songwriter Taylor Swift has just announced the re-recording of her 2010 album “Speak Now.” She shared the announcement on her Instagram with a stunning photo of her in a lavender gown and her iconic curly tresses.

This re-recording is another in a long line of Swift’s “Taylor’s Versions” after copyright issues with her previous label. As a result, Swift created her own and is re-recording her songs to officially own them. While she remains true to the original songs, her matured voice and personal flourishes are reasons fans are so excited.

“Speak Now: Taylor’s Version” will be released July 7, 2023. Alongside the album, six new songs from “the vault” will be released.

Additionally, Swift announced the album during the Nashville segment of her “Eras” tour. This is significant because she moved to Tennessee as a teenager to pursue music, signifying a return to her roots but also a new beginning and reclamation.
