Three students, Alexis Ehlbeck (12), Brooks Franklin (11), and Carson Beck (11), received the first ever Air Force scholarships worth over $20,000. These scholarships pay off the training as well as schooling at one of the six hosting universities around the country. When completed, each student will receive their FAA Private License. With only 120 slots available and over 850 JROTC programs, these three students were chosen after competitive processes. Only five students in Arizona were chosen and three of them were from Hamilton High School.

“I’m glad to have this opportunity to get my pilot’s license to hopefully open more doors for me.” Brooks Franklin (11) replied to having received the scholarship. Alexis Elhbeck also stated, “Its an awesome opportunity and I’m super thankful to have received this.”

Congratulations future pilots!
