The Film Club of Hamilton sadly was unable to get a table at the club fair. Yet, this doesn’t mean the club doesn’t exist. They meet every Thursday in B115; which happens to be where the Paw Print is located. In B115, both Film and Journalism classes come together, but every Thursday after school there is a “part two,” for the film club. There, the club develops more skills for Filming. Mr. Ingram, the sponsor for the club, shared, “This club is excellent for students wanting to get involved in shooting, and film. We learn newscasting techniques and how to be a reporter.” Although it is just practice, there is a lot to learn if you’re interested in this topic.
Om Gawali (12) president of the club said, “It’s a bit of a flux start; not many know the club exists.” While reading this report, you are already supporting the Hamilton Film Club. Help it more by telling others or perhaps joining yourself. Om also stated, “I would like to see more accomplishments for the club.” This club is not only for those in the Film class. Practices such as this are vital for special events if you would want to see the video. Don’t forget to help support this club that welcomes all.
