Everyone loves chocolate bars, especially when buying them supports clubs and athletics! Hamilton High School Marketing and DECA Club are selling chocolate bars before and after school for $1 each. Flavors include Creamy Caramel, Roasted Almond, Crispy Rice, Milk Chocolate, and Dark Chocolate Almonds. Funds go towards supporting the club and class! “DECA and marketing have been selling chocolate for a while; I’d say for almost the life span of the marketing class,” says Rafael Trujillo (10).

Marketing/DECA Club is also raising money by donating unused items! If you have anything to donate bring it to the foyer on any weekday between September 4-6 or September 6-13. Or on weekends you can drop off any of your unwanted items at the goodwill located on Alma School and Queen Creek Rd. “Marketing sold chocolate and set up this drive a while ago. I did it last year, and I think it’s a great way for students to learn about marketing hands-on and support the community,” says Chance Warriner (10).

“Marketing and DECA Club is more useful than a lot of other electives because you learn to market yourself and helps you to go places in life. It is a life class which sounds corny but it really does help you in the real world,” says Rafael Trujillo (10). The main goal is to help students gain life skills that will follow them into their adult lives and benefit them in a positive way. “It helps you to be successful in life and helps you prepare for your future,” says Cadon Duong (10).
