Thursday, September 19, 2019, Choir is holding a concert to display what they’ve been working on this past quarter. It is being held at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium and doesn’t cost to get in. It will last a couple of hours and songs they are performing include “My Love” and multiple songs in other languages. The choir performs four times a year after rehearsing their songs all quarter.

The choir is described as being a class with a really fun environment and many students are excited to showcase the skills they have learned this past quarter. “I’m really looking forward to performing the songs we practice all quarter for our friends and family to show them all the hard work we’ve put into something we enjoy,” says Viet Zaengle (10). Many students love the community they are able to build by practicing with their peers and working together to create music. “Choir gives me a chance to be apart of people working as hard as I am for something as great as music,” says Zahra Alsooz (9). The music aspect of the choir is a really enticing thing for many students as well, they love the rhythm and hearing their words together.

“I think people should go to the concert because choir does really entertaining kits in between and it’s cool to watch, we’ve been working on this all quarter and it sounds really good,” says Grace Withrow (10). So be sure to support the musical arts programs at Hamilton and come to the choir performance Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium.
