JROTC is the “Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps” and its purpose is to help students advance into the military or learn important skills that can help them in the future. In JROTC they work together as a class and also do physical training.

Recently, in JROTC they’ve been working on getting new students adjusted to the classroom and getting them their uniforms. This Saturday on Oct. 24, they will be having a picnic at Tumbleweed Park where they will be eating, playing games and also keeping at a safe distance away from each other due to the Covid-19 virus. Jace Mundai a member of the class says, “That if you ever need to find out information about the class or have to talk to the leaders they can be reached through their personal emails but the email has to be sent from a personal account not a school account.”

The JROTC  picnic will be held from 12-6 p.m. and  on Nov. 14, there will be an event hosted by all of the cadets called “Desert Talon,” from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.
