On Jan 16-18, our Hamilton Speech and debate team had a very successful three day tournament competing against 91 schools and 433 entries at the Cougar Classic hosted by the University of Houston. In dramatic interpretation Navaneeth Unnikrishnan placed second.

In duo interpretation Vishwa Annamalai and Pranav Arun placed 3rd. Also in duo interpretation, Karan Bhullar and Shreya Tripathi placed first.

In informative Trisha Panse placed 1st. In original oratory Iris Lai placed second.

For the program oral interpretation Trisha Panse took second place and Bella Faria took fifth place.

In the debate competitions in the Novice Lincoln Douglas debate Gowri Biju placed in second and Leela Raj-Sankar placed first.

In the Public Forum debate Shravan Pejavar and Raunak Mukherjee placed second. Make sure if you see our speech and debate team you congratulate them on their very successful tournament!
