Republican Win for 2024?
April 2, 2023
The conspiracies and opinions about the 2020 presidential election campaign are far from confidential. These opinions are undeniably meaningless because the outcome didn’t serve the country a single amount of progress or change. Just humiliation and defeat. Everyone seems to be unhappy with the current president meant to be in charge of the U.S. safety and security. It’s been abundantly clear that Trump is in the running for re-election in 2024 to take back what he claimed was “stolen” from him in 2020. Said to be his biggest competitor, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, another devoted Republican, has given no clues to whether or not he will be in the running for president. Regardless, two unnamed major polls predicted DeSantis would beat Trump in the Republican nomination.
It’s news that four other named Republican officials who had been former Trump officials are also debating on taking their chance at running. These named potential candidates are Mike Pence, Nikki Haley, Mike Pompeo, and Glenn Youngkin. Most voters are hoping one of these people will continue to carry on the MAGA(“Make America Great Again”) movement; they feel Trump has tarnished with his personal liabilities.
Most believe it is best for the former president to drop out of the running and put his support behind the Florida governor, however with his widely known history, it is an expected refusal. If Trump manages to stay in the running until the election comes around, political partisanship could still win over personal loyalty, this would force MAGA supporters to vote for whoever the GOP nominates in attempts to eliminate the possibility of another Democratic presidency.
