Spirit Week at Hamilton!

Hamilton High School’s spirit week, which is taking place from Nov. 8, 2021 to Nov. 12, 2021, encourages students to wear spirit wear and engage in school activities.

Hamilton High School and other schools all over the country have an annual spirit week to celebrate the school and its achievements. Each day of the week, there is a specific theme which students are allowed to follow by dressing accordingly. On Monday, the theme is all about artists and bands. Students can come to school wearing their favorite band or artist’s T-shirt. On Tuesday, the theme is college gear. Students can come to school decked out in their college gear such as T-shirts, hoodies and lanyards. On Wednesday, students can wear clothing which resembles the 2000s time period. For example, they can wear boot-cut jeans, capris, and denim skirts. School has been canceled on Nov. 11, 2021 for Veterans day but on Friday, students can wear all black.

Additionally, there is traditionally a grand football game held at the end of the week which has a theme correlating with it as well. For Hamilton, there will be a rivalry football game on Friday, Nov. 12, 2021 against Chandler High School. The theme for this game is “Black Out” meaning that students can wear the color black to the game to show their school spirit. Students are also able to purchase shirts for 10 dollars being sold in the cafeteria and the proceeds will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation! These can also be worn to the game on Friday. Overall, spirit week is a way students can represent Hamilton and show off their school spirit.
