On March 30, 2022, Hamilton High School’s STUGO representatives attended the annual district convention hosted by Chandler High School. 

This year’s theme for the annual district convention was Alvin and the Chipmunks where Hamilton STUGO representatives dressed up as characters from the movie to take on the school spirit. At this event, STUGO representatives introduced themselves and presented their fundraisers and organizations held at Hamilton High School.

Many other schools did the same, allowing CUSD 80 district schools to come together and get feedback from each other. New ideas were developed and different strategies were discussed as well to continue to have engaging and fun conventions at school. Schools around the district shared how they have organized different events such as assemblies, proms, homecomings, spirit weeks and candy fundraisers. Hamilton STUGO got plenty of positive critique to improve their event experience at Hamilton.
