On Wednesday a hurricane watch was issued for Bermuda as Hurricane Earl. Earl is the second hurricane of the 2022 Atlantic hurricane season. It had a maximum of sustained winds of 100 mph late Wednesday. There was a tropical storm warning recently by Bermuda’s Weather Service. The Bermuda’s Ministry of National Security said that the closest storm’s closest approach will be early Friday morning around midnight. House owners were told to secure outdoor furniture, have a plan and to stock up on medication.
