Parts of northern and central Texas and southern Oklahoma are seeing the most significant freezing rain and sleet right now.There have been over thousands reports of serious accidents located in the Austin metro area. Icing has been forced closures on stretches of Interstate 40 in eastern Arkansas. The winter storm warning includes the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex, Austin, and San Antonio, meaning hazardous travel  is expected with at least some potential for power outages and damage to trees.
