Hamilton boys golf recently won the tenth annual Antigua National High School Golf Invitational at Whirlwind GC. The Huskies scored 14 under par which set a new tournament record! Johnny Walker, a junior on the boy’s golf team, won the individual title and set a record score for the tournament. Walker emphasized that “it was a good feeling to accomplish that win.”  In this tournament, the Huskies played against twenty-four different schools and were playing against some of the best teams in the country. The boys were able to win by fourteen strokes, and senior Ethan Adam stated that the game “made me feel great about our team and our success in the future going into state.” He felt that the team played consistently well throughout both days and it gave them a nice lead on the competitors. A fellow player on the team, Tyler Biberdorf (12), noted: “it was really cool since it was a national tournament.” The boys plan on continuing to work on their successes in hopes of heading towards the state championships! #GoHuskies
