This past weekend Hamilton Girls Golf team had an exceptional win at the Nighthawk Invitational in Tucson, Arizona. Our Hamilton Huskies captured the team title at the tournament. Maddie Adam (12)  on the Girls Golf team went into the tournament very excited, it was her year third year playing in it. As contribution to the team she noted, “I scored two solid rounds, as well as my teammates.” Maddie got sixth as an individual shooting even (E).  Hamilton won by two strokes overall with a +23 next to Cactus Shadows with a +25. The whole team played well and had a fun time at this invitational. Tori Stitt (12) expressed “ this tournament was a great way for us to show how good we have been doing this season.” Winning this tournament meant a lot for the team, it showed great strength for Hamilton’s golf. The team feels closer after the win and can’t wait to play in more matches/tournaments. Their next game is in two weeks on Sept. 23rd at the Springfield Golf Club against Chaparral.
