Hamilton Girls Basketball is ranked second and placed first in the standings within the 6A premier teams after the winter break. The Girls started outbreak with a loss against East Catholic, which is their third loss of the season. They began the game strongly but just fell short in the last quarter where East Catholic took the lead and were up by ten points. The Girls then won their next four games with dominant wins including their first one against West Linn with a score of 52-45. They had a big win against Perry High School (64-49) making their new season record 12-4. Coach Neider commented that “We have a different player lead us in about every game. We don’t have players complaining about their touches. In this day and age that is hard to come by.”  The next game they played was at Chandler High School who have a season record of 13-4, the girls planned to up their wins and ended this game on top with a score of (56-44). These were big games for the girls and Neider is proud of them for “taking down two solid 6A premier teams.” Make sure to go see their next game against Valley Vista on January 16th at 7:00 p.m. #GoHuskies!
