Girls Basketball v. Desert Vista

 Hamilton Girls’ Basketball only has a few more games left before the end of their season. In their last game against Desert Vista, the girls put up a huge win with a final score of 80-57. The game was tied up through the first quarter with each team scoring 18 points. Hamilton was ahead for the rest of the game and eventually pulled out a victory. Senior Victoria Davis who scored 14 points  commented on the performance by saying “ we played a good game and we just keep getting better.” Zakiirah King (12) who scored 8 points for the Huskies expressed how “ we are constantly improving and working better together as a team.” The Huskies now sport a 17-5 record. For their next game they played Perry High in a 6A premier battle, the Pumas are coming off of a record of 15-7. The Huskies were defeated with a final score of 56-48. There are only three games left in their season,  so make sure to come out and watch the girls play in their next game at Highland High school on Thursday, February 6th, at 7:00 pm. #GoHuskies!
