Huskies Boys Games Cancelled, Girls Crush Kofa

Huskies Boys Games Cancelled, Girls Crush Kofa

Connie Escobar

On Jan, 28 and 29 Boys Basketball was scheduled to play against the Eagles from Sandra Day O’Connor and the Kings from Kofa. Sadly, however, both games were cancelled, meaning the boys will not be playing until their next away game against the Pumas. The Pumas have won all four games they’ve played. In fact, if we backtrack to Jan. 19, 2021 which marked the boys first game we would see the loss against Perry, with a score of 57-47. The game against the Pumas will be on Feb. 06, 2021 at 12pm. This will be the Huskies chance to make up for that first game. You got this Huskies!

Moving on to the girls, they’ve had an amazing season by far winning each of their games. The girls have had five games and have dominated the court every time. The last game they had they played against the Kofa Kings, walking off the court with an amazing score of 82-6. Soon after on Feb. 02, 2021 at 5:30pm the girls took over the Bears at their own den with a score of 64-22. Nonetheless, it’s easy to say that the girls aren’t backing down anytime soon!  We can count on the girls to dominate their upcoming competition against the Perry Pumas on Feb. 05, 2021 at 7:00pm. Their upcoming game will be an away game located at Perry High School. The Pumas on the other hand have had an okay season so far with an overall seasonal score of 3-3, allowing them a 50% chance of winning. However, they may surprise us, don’t drop your guard Huskies! In the last game that the Huskies faced the Pumas, the Huskies came out victorious with a final score of 75-53. Secure the bag Huskies!
