Beach and Boys Volleyball Earn Many Victories

Briana McCauley

These talented athletes have been putting in a lot of work, and none of it is going unnoticed. Starting off with Beach Volleyball, they had a game on April 9 against the Chandler Wolves at Casteel High School. These Huskies showed them what they’re made of and defeated the Wolves 3-2. Their most recent game was on April 12. They went against the Valley Vista Monsoons at Sunrise Community Park and sadly lost 4-1. Even though they lost, they have a chance to bring their game back on April 14 against the Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks at Casteel High School. The game will commence at 4 pm, good luck!

Next up, Boys Volleyball. On April 1, they went against the Mountain View Toros, and while they sadly lost 2-3, they came back and beat the Rincon Rangers 3-2 on April 6! They also dueled the Basha Bears at home on April 8 and crushed them 3-0! On April 13, they played the Perry Pumas but unfortunately lost 3-0, ending their winning streak. Don’t get used to it because, in their next game, they will be against the Chandler Wolves on April 15 at 5:30 pm. Those Wolves won’t stand a chance against these Huskies claws.  Good luck, and go Huskies!
