The week of April 26 to April 29 has been jam packed, before getting into the multiple victories earned by the Huskies for the week of April 26 they had a game in the previous week on April 23 against the Perry Pumas. The Huskies grabbed a lead in the fifth inning for an overall victory against the Pumas. The game was tied at one with the Huskies batting in the top of the fifth when Prince DeBoskie hit a solo homer. In the first inning, the Huskies got their offense started when Josh Tiedemann hit a solo homer. Perry evened things up at one in the bottom of the fourth inning. Followed by Cade Lacy hitting a solo homer. The Huskies put up four runs in the seventh inning with the  big bats being led by Gavin Turley and Brock Selvidge, who all drove in runs. Kole Klecker was credited for the win,Klecker went seven innings, allowing two runs on four hits, striking out ten and walking one. Our Huskies launched four home runs on that day, while DeBoskie went yard in the fifth inning. Selvidge went for the long ball in the seventh inning and Tiedemann put one out in the first inning.Turley went deep in the seventh inning. The Huskies collected 11 hits that day in total. Logan Saloman, Turley, and Ryan Kucherak each collected multiple hits for Hamilton. Saloman went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Hamilton in hits. Alex Hernandez had the most chances in the field with ten. The Huskies didn’t commit a single error in the field that game! Followed by their amazing 8-2 victory over the Pumas they were scheduled to go up against the Pumas three days later where they came home with another victory with an overall score of 11-1. 

Followed by their victory over the Pumas on the 26 of April the Huskies were scheduled to go up against the Lions at Mountain Pointe high school where they came home with a final score of 8-4. The game was tied at three with the Huskies batting in the top of the fifth when Brock Selvidge drew a walk, scoring one run. Mountain Pointe took an early lead in the second inning.With Carlos Vega doubling on a 1-0 count, scoring one run. Mountain Pointe evened things up at three in the bottom of the third inning when Carter Bailey hit a solo homer. After Hamilton scored one run in the top of the sixth, Mountain Pointe answered with one of their own. Hamilton scored when Ryan Kucherak’s sac fly scored one run for the Huskies. Mountain Pointe then answered when Bailey hit a solo homer,  Selvidge then pitched the Huskies to victory. The fireballer lasted six and a third innings, allowing five hits and four runs while striking out nine. Josh Tiedemann threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. Prince DeBoskie and Roch Cholowsky each had multiple hits for the Huskies. DeBoskie led Hamilton with three hits in three at bats

 On April 29 two days after their action packed game against Mountain Pointe the Huskies went up against Corona del Sol at home where they Logan Saloman led the Huskies Past Corona Del Sol. Saloman drove in runs on a single in the first and a home run in the second. The Huskies got on the board in the first inning when Saloman singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.They scored nine runs in the third inning while Ryan Kucherak, Josh Tiedemann, Roch Cholowsky, Gavin Turley, and Brady Figueroa each had RBIs in the big inning. Kole Klecker pitched the Huskies to victory. The pitcher lasted three innings, allowing seven hits and two runs while striking out two and walking one. Grant DeGraffenreid and Jackson Smith entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. The Huskies scored two home runs and Saloman had a four bagger in the second inning. Cholowsky put one out in the third inning. The game ended with a final score of 19-3, way to go huskies! The Huskies next game is scheduled for May 5 against O’Connor High school at home, scheduled to commence at 3:45 pm. Good luck Huskies! 

Up next softball, our female Huskies have been on a roll this season coming back with wins back to back. On April 23 the Huskies went up against the Pumas at Perry High School and came back home with a final score of 6-1. Soon after they went up against Xavier College Prep on April 26 and won that game with an amazing score of 13-7 that was not the end of their winning streak however. After their victory against Xavier they won their game against Dobson High on April 27 and won that game with a very close score of 6-5. Finally they went up against Corona del Sol on April 29 to tie up the week up and came back with a final score of 15-5. The Huskies next game is scheduled for May 5 against O’Connor High school at O’Connor High School and is scheduled to commence at 3:45 pm. Good luck Huskies!
