Beach and Boys Volleyball Putting Up a Fight

Briana McCauley

Both Boys and Beach Volleyball have had quite the busy schedule. Starting with beach volleyball, they played the Ironridge Nighthawks on April 14 and the Casteel Colts on April 16, but sadly lost both games. They then played against the Basha Bears the same night as the Colts but lost, however, redeemed themselves at the game against the Mesa Jackrabbits on April 19, taking home a 5-0 victory. Their most recent game was against the Xavier Prep Gators on April 21, unfortunately losing 4-1. They have a chance to turn things around on April 28 against the Perry Pumas, which could be the last game of the season. Good luck Huskies!

Boys Volleyball have only played three games recently, but have many games coming up. On April 15 they played their rivals, the Chandler Wolves and crushed them 3-2, take that Wolves! On April 20 they played the Brophy Prep Broncos and lost, but brought their game on April 22 against the Basha Bears and took victory, scoring 3-1. Their most recent game was April 27 against the Perry Pumas but lost 3-0. Coming up they play their rivals, yet again, on April 28. Will the Wolves give it their all or will the Huskies defeat them once again? Good luck, and go Huskies!
