The End to Boys and Beach Volleyball

Briana McCauley

It has been quite the season for beach and boys volleyball, but sady, they have inevitably come to an end. Starting with Beach Volleyball, they had their very last game of the season on April 28. They went up against their all-time rivals, the Chandler Wolves. They played them on April 9 and beat them 3-2, but the Wolves came ready and defeated the Huskies. Beach Volleyball had an overall 2-10, but continued to push through each and every game. Great job Huskies!

Lastly; Boys Volleyball. On April 28 and 29, they played the Chandler Wolves and the Brophy Prep Broncos. They lost both games, however, they came back and defeated the South Mountain Jaguars on May 3, scoring 3-0. On May 5 and 6, they played the Sandra Day O’ Connor Eagles and the Desert Ridge Jaguars, but lost both games. Despite these losses, they made it into the first round of the finals! They played the Desert Vista Thunder, which took place on May 8. They put in their everything, but unfortunately lost, meaning they didn’t advance further. Their overall season score was 7-9, great job and go Huskies!
