October 27, 2021
This week, Hamilton’s Varsity Volleyball team has been pinned up against Basha, Highland and Perry. Hamilton’s first game was away and against Basha High School on Tuesday Oct. 19 at 6 p.m. The final score was 3-0; Hamilton came out victorious and obtained another win to put under their belt. On Oct. 20, Hamilton went up against the Highland Hawks. Hamilton came out with the win, beating Highland with a score of 3-0. The first set’s final score was 25-15. The second set was a blowout, ending in a score of 25-7. Hamilton beat Highland in the following set where the score was 25-18. Unfortunately, these Pumas beat Hamilton on Oct 21. In the first set, Hamilton gained 18 points, but the Pumas just edged and defeated us with 25 points. The next set, Hamilton put up a spirited fight; however, it was not enough to beat this juggernaut school. Hamilton had 21 points, and barely lost to Perry who had 25 points. During the third and final set, Hamilton did everything they could but lost once again to the Pumas with the score for the third set being 25-16.
Hamilton’s next game is on Oct. 26 at 6 p.m. against Xavier College Prep.
