Hamilton Huskies Basketball Fighting Start

Hamilton comes into the basketball season with a grand entrance. The Varsity boys basketball team played their first game on Wednesday Nov. 24 at 1:30 pm. This game was against Mesquite in a neutral tournament. Hamilton had an impactful start, scoring 21 points in the first quarter. After this quarter, the game was very close, but Hamilton came out victorious. The final score of the game was 60-57. Hamilton, coming out victorious, were ready and prepared to win their next game.

On Friday Nov. 26 the basketball team went to play against McClintock High School. This game was very close and Hamilton barely left with the victory. At the end of the game, the score was 65-64. Hamilton fought hard and deserved the victory for this game.

Hamilton also played an away game against Corona del Sol on Tuesday Nov. 30. Hamilton and Corona both put up a very well played game. The final score was 54-43, with Hamilton taking the victory.

On Thursday Dec. 2, Hamilton’s Varsity basketball team played an away game against Chaparral. This game was neck and neck and unfortunately the Huskies took their first L. The final score was 50-49. Hamilton put up the best game that they could have played but Chaparral took the upper hand. 

Hamilton played against South Mountain High School on Friday Dec. 3 at Hamilton High School. Each team brought their “A” game to the plate. Hamilton won this game beating the Jaguars 62-50. Now with a 5-1 record, the Huskies are ready to face any challenge that comes in their way.
