Boys Tennis in Playoffs Again

May 10, 2022
The Hamilton Boys Tennis Team is a great playoff ready team. They have waited all season for the first round of playoffs, and it is now their time to shine.
The Tennis team were able to win their team matchup versus the Rincon University Rangers. They escaped with an easy five to zero sweep. Hamilton played their next game on May 4 against Mountain View, Mesa. Against the Toros, the Huskies did not have a problem and swept them five to zero. Hamilton is moving on to the semi-finals versus the Brophy Broncos. Hamilton is an underdog for sure, because the Broncos were undefeated and beat the Huskies both times in the regular season.
In the solo and duo bracket, the Hamilton players have had some success. The Huskies duo of George Badulescu and Anshul Verma made it all the way to the semi-finals where they fell to a duo hailing from Brophy Preparatory Academy. We had two participants in the playoffs, and they both fell in the first and second round.
Hamilton is still running for State Champion and plays the Brophy Prep Broncos on May 6 at 3 p.m.
