The Hamilton Girls Volleyball played an incredible season, the players working had to create a strong team that pushed them all the way into the playoffs. After making it through round one, to quarter-finals, to the semi-finals, Hamilton was up against the Corona del Sol High School team in the finals. Though a close game, unfortunately Hamilton did not take the win, instead finishing second in the Arizona Conference 6A.

The Corona del Sol team was ranked first in the Arizona Conference 6A going into the playoffs, Hamilton following behind in second, so there were some nerves in the air as Hamilton stepped on the court for their final game of the season. But even with the high rank of the opposing team, there was still no doubt that Hamilton could pull through.

Playing at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum, the game went to a total of five sets. By the fourth set, both teams had two set wins under their belts, and only 15 points stood between them and the title. In a back and forth set, Corona eventually won the race to those 15 points, taking the last set with a score of 6-15, winning first in the Arizona Conference 6A.

The Hamilton Girls Volleyball team finished the season with an overall score of 34-8, playing a strong season regardless of the loss in the finals. It was a special season for many of the girls, especially seniors, playing a season full of many ups and downs, but overall one that proved the team as one of great dedication and perseverance.
