After concluding the break with four games, the Hamilton Boys basketball team entered the third quarter with a total of three games within the first week. The boys played away Tuesday, Jan. 10 against Sunnyslope High School, Thursday, Jan. 12 in a home game against Mountain Ridge and played away again on Friday, Jan. 13 against Chandler High School.

In the first game back, against Sunnyslope High School, Hamilton traveled to the Phoenix school, unfortunately losing in a game of 51-34. However, the next game against Mountain Ridge High School on Thursday, Jan. 12 was a huge win for Hamilton. The game concluded with a score of 63-38 in Hamilton’s favor. 

After this win, Hamilton continued on to play their third and final game of the week, away against Chandler High School. The game had a final score of 51-40, a loss but a close one, to end the week for Hamilton.

Hamilton High School now stands at four wins to their 13 losses, ranking them 25th in the Arizona 6A Division. The team will go on to play two more games in the following week, one against Brophy College Prep and the other against Basha High School.
