The Hamilton Boys Basketball team concluded their season over the previous week, playing their last three games, unable to make it into the playoffs for this year. However, this does not take away from the season they played, full of perseverance, even in the midst of their continued losses.

Concluding the season in their final game against Perry High School, the team had an overall standing of four wins to 20 losses. The boys took those four wins against Mountain View High School, Apollo, Mesa High School and Mountain Ridge. Going on to finish the season ranked 24th in the Arizona 6A Division. Some of the strongest games Hamilton played this season were their first game against Mountain View and their last win against Mountain Ridge. These games in particular had Hamilton running high scores with a pretty large gap in scores with the teams they were playing. The Mountain Ridge game finished in a score of 56-28, a 28 point difference. The game was a strong start for the boys at the beginning of their season. Along with this, the game against Mountain Ridge ended with a 25 point difference, a final score of 63-38.

Hamilton Boys Basketball team still has a chance to come back even bigger next year, as a lot of their players on the current varsity roster are juniors and sophomores who could make a return for the next season. However, as playoffs continue, the remaining teams have limited down to four upcoming games in the quarterfinals. These games feature Gilbert against Highland High School, Mountain View against Pinnacle, Mesa playing Boulder Creek and Ceasar Chavez against Brophy Prep. The four winners that will stem from these games will go on to play in the semi-finals on Wednesday, March 1 before the championship that will follow on that Saturday.
