This year’s Girls Flag Football season has once again shown to be a success at Hamilton High School, yet to lose a game in their incredible winning streak. Recently, the girls played two strong games. The first was an away game against the Desert Ridge team and they followed that with their first home game of the season against ACP.

Their first game of the week against Desert Ridge was played on Tuesday, March 28. The team took a big win with an incredible 45-0 final score. The defense was especially strong at that night’s game, giving up only two or three first downs. Along with this, Samaya Taylors concluded the game with nine receptions, 132 yards and two touchdowns and Breanna Sommers came in with six receptions, 67 yards and another two touchdowns. Lastly, player Sydney Reddish went six for six on extra points for the game and added her first Field Goal of the year from 27 yards out in her first year of playing.

In their following game, to conclude the week of games, the girls played at home on Thursday, March 30. The game was another success, however still one of their closer games. The girls finished with a final score of 13-6. The girls persevered through the game, getting ahead towards the end of the game and securing another win.
