Unfortunately, the 2018-2019 NFL season is officially coming to a close. This Sunday will be on the final game of the season. It most definitely is the biggest one as this Sunday it’s between the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams! The Patriots defeated the Chiefs last week in a 37-31 overtime thriller in Arrowhead stadium. Tom Brady still looked like he was the greatest quarterback in the league and of all time, as he helped the Patriots convert 13 third down conversions and played amazing down the stretch of the fourth quarter and overtime. It’s amazing, although tiring that no matter who the Patriots have compiled into their roster, as long as Brady is at the helm they are a super bowl contender. The Rams on the other hand, beat the Saints but, there was a controversial call people are still talking about.

With one to two minutes left in the game Drew Brees threw a pass to (Tommylee Lewis). He got hammered and the refs didn’t throw the flag! Rams defender, Nickell Robey-Coleman, delivered head to head contact and interfered with the receiver. Although this happened the Saints had overtime to win the game. Drew Brees threw an interception on the Saints first drive. The Rams kicked a field goal and won 26-23. Daryon Briggs (12) said “The Nfl needs to do something about the refs because even I saw the pass interference they are costing teams games.” The refs have been very shaky with their officiating and it’s gotten to a point where something needs to be done about it.

The Rams have an excellent coach, Sean Mcvay who was turned his quarterback Jared Goff into someone who looks to be an elite quarterback. They also have Todd Gurley who is arguably the best running back in the Nfl as well as a solid wide receiving core in Brandin Cooks and Robert Woods. On the defensive side they have Aaron Donald who might be the best defensive player alongside Ndamukong Suh, Marcus Peters, Aquib Talib and other great talents. Ismael Saenz (11) said “I think the Rams are the better overall team and their talent will outshine New England’s and the Rams will win this one.” He brings up a good point on paper, the Rams have more talent and will certainly look to use that to their advantage. Now looking at the Patriots they are led by Tom Brady who is the greatest quarterback we have ever seen the stats don’t lie. Julian Edelman who is emerging as top wide receiver in this league. Alongside a great running duo in Sony Michel and James White. Jefrie Lucio (11) said “ I really do think the Rams are overrated and Brady has been in this situation more than the whole Rams team has. Experience plays a big factor and it’ll show. We will win this game convincingly.” These two teams are unfamiliar with each other and it’ll be the first time they matchup stay tuned for Sunday which looks like it will be a great one!
