California Floods Put Migrants at Risk
California’s floods are getting worse each day. The neighborhood near Pajaro River was deserted with many leaving around 1 a.m. Luis Alejo stated, “the worst case scenario.” Governments are stepping up and are getting shelters together for the people who lost their homes and belongings. The picture shows belongings and other household items piles outside of the homes due to the horrible incident. Sergio Villaron, who is a Community leader, stated that he is worried about his neighbors who are field and farm workers. County resources are working with several non-profit groups that are there to support relief efforts for those with or without documentation.
