According to authorities, three persons died as a result of two separate crashes in Morgan Hill Sunday morning.
The first incident occurred around 3 a.m. when a car drove into trees and a fire hydrant in the center median at Third Street and Monterey Road.
According to authorities, the driver in the single-vehicle rollover crash was pronounced deceased on the spot.
Around 8:44 a.m., police reported a second, unconnected deadly collision on Monterey Road near Middle Avenue, near Calderon Tires.
According to early findings, a car moving northbound on Monterey Road at an alleged high speed lost control and collided with a vehicle traveling southbound on Monterey Road, police said.
Police say the drivers of both automobiles were pronounced deceased on the scene.
