According to the Indianapolis police department, three persons were sent to the hospital after being involved in a head-on collision early on Monday morning at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
Just after two o’clock in the morning, officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a collision involving two vehicles that occurred on Fall Creek Parkway close to Evanston Avenue.
According to officers who were present at the site, all of the individuals involved in the accident, including two drivers and a passenger, were sent to the hospital; however, the severity of their injuries is not known at this time.
Two severely damaged vehicles, a sedan and an SUV, were placed onto flatbed trailers at the scene of the accident, which was photographed by a photographer for News 8.
IMPD did not explain what caused the collision or whether or not drugs or alcohol played a role in it.
