HPP: Demetrius Terrance Frazier, who was found guilty of capital murder for the murder of Pauline Brown in Jefferson County in 1991, will be put to death on the day that Governor Kay Ivey has decided as the execution date.

During the thirty-hour window beginning at twelve in the morning on February 6 and ending at six in the morning on February 7, the execution by nitrogen gas hypoxia is scheduled to take place.

According to the documents filed with the court, Frazier, who is 52 years old, was found guilty by a jury of the capital murder, rape, and robbery that occurred in Pauline Brown’s apartment in Birmingham.

At the William C. Holman Correctional Facility in Atmore, which is a small hamlet located around 130 miles south of Montgomery, the execution will take place in the death chamber if it is carried out.

Brown, who resided on the ground floor of Fountain Heights Apartments, was murdered on November 26, 1991, and Frazier admitted to the crime, according to the records of the court.

He entered a window that was open and stole approximately ten dollars while armed with a weapon that had a caliber of.22.

Brown was present when he spotted her in the flat, and he sexually assaulted her while holding a gun to her head.

During the sexual assault, Brown pleaded for her life when Frazier shot her once in the back of the head, according to the court filings. Frazier also shot Brown once. The age of Frazier at the time was 19.

According to the documents, the jury voted 10-2 in favor of recommending the prosecution to be executed.

Following the death of Brown, Frazier was taken into custody in Detroit in 1992 on charges that were unrelated to the crime.

It is documented in the court documents that he disclosed to detectives from the Detroit Police Department that he had committed the murder of a woman in Alabama in the year 1991.

On November 11, 2011, according to the records, Frazier was brought back to Alabama and placed on execution row.

Several offenses, including felony murder, armed robbery, criminal sexual misconduct, and felon in possession of a handgun, had resulted in his serving a life sentence in Michigan for a period of eighteen years, according to accounts in the media.
