Metrolink announced its Holiday Express Train schedule on Monday afternoon, providing Southern California families with a festive travel option for the holiday season.
The Holiday Express Train will operate from Thanksgiving weekend until Dec. 21, with organizers announcing a total of 10 trips across five routes in the main counties served by Metrolink. Check out the complete schedule below.
“We’re thrilled to expand this year’s service, adding two additional trips due to popular demand, so that even more families can make Metrolink a part of their holiday traditions. It’s an experience you won’t want to miss,” Metrolink Board Chair and City of Highland Mayor Pro Tem Larry McCallon said.

- Orange County:
- Saturday, Nov. 30 – Anaheim Station
- Train 1: Departs 10 a.m.
- Train 2: Departs 12:30 p.m.
- Riverside County:
- Saturday, Dec. 7 – Riverside-Downtown Station
- Train 1: Departs 10:30 a.m.
- Train 2: Departs 1:30 p.m.
- Ventura County:
- Saturday, Dec. 14 – Simi Valley Station
- Train 1: Departs 9:45 a.m.
- Train 2: Departs 1:15 p.m.
- Los Angeles County:
- Sunday, Dec. 15 – Vista Canyon Station (Santa Clarita)
- Train 1: Departs 9:30 a.m.
- Train 2: Departs 1:20 p.m.
- San Bernardino County:
- Saturday, Dec. 21 – Redlands-Downtown Station
- Train 1: Departs 9:30 a.m.
- Train 2: Departs 12:10 p.m.
Ticket is $25 for each individual, and toddlers under the age of two can enjoy the ride at no cost while seated on a parent or caregiver’s lap.
