Brooklyn Subway Violence Man Hospitalized After Alleged Attack by MTA Employee

A worker from the MTA faces allegations of attacking a man who was resting on a bench in a Brooklyn subway station during the early hours of Monday.

The incident took place on the southbound platform of the Atlantic Avenue–Barclays Center subway station at approximately 1:45 a.m. An argument erupted between the MTA worker, who was pouring bleach, and the 46-year-old victim, according to sources.

Sources indicate that the employee is accused of inflicting a slash above the man’s left eye with a sharp object.

Authorities apprehended the individual at the location, according to reports. The individual was transported to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
